HDF is thrilled to announce that we are the recipients of a $2K grant from the Savings Bank of Danbury!
For over 30 years, HDF has been dedicated to ensuring that homeownership is an attainable, affordable goal for individuals throughout the state of Connecticut. A big part of that mission has been making sure our clients receive, at no cost to them, the support of a counselor who guides them one-on-one through the process, ensuring that they have the tools to understand what homeownership readiness means, how to budget, and identify programs that work for their individual needs. It is wonderful to be starting off 2020 with the Savings Bank of Danbury’s support of our mission to strengthen communities by increasing and preserving the affordable housing stock. With this grant, we will be able to continue offering this counseling at no cost to all of our clients, ensuring that the American dream is attainable for everyone no matter their income level!
