As a leader in affordable housing, we help organizations make a commitment to building strong communities. By attending events like our Benefit Breakfast, your organization can advance the cause of affordable and sustainable homeownership throughout our service areas.

Our annual Benefit Breakfast is an in-person event that raises money for our first-time homebuyer program and our Community Land Trust (CLT). Through our first-time homebuyer program, we provide FREE individualized homeownership counseling and education, while our CLT provides permanently affordable homeownership units to the South End of Stamford.

At HDF, we help first-time homebuyers and partner with commercial lenders to make affordable, sustainable homeownership a reality. By supporting our programs, you keep our services free and available for everyone who needs them.

Community Land Trust (CLT)

HDF’s Community Land Trust (CLT) is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides permanently affordable housing for low- and moderate-income communities. The CLT owns land and leases the units built on it to provide individuals and families the opportunity to build wealth and equity through homeownership.
