HDF is grateful to announce that Fairfield County Bank has graciously awarded us a $2,500 grant to support our counseling services!

Since 1999, HDF’s free homebuyer counseling program has been a cornerstone of our efforts to create sustainable affordable housing throughout Connecticut. Through the counseling program, all clients work one-on-one with an adviser to chart a path to homeownership from start to finish. Together, clients develop an action plan to increase savings, reduce debt, and identify programs that work for their individual needs. Now more than ever, as potential homebuyers need guidance to understand this quickly shifting landscape income should not stand as a barrier to receiving this vital help. HDF is thrilled to have such a strong partner as Fairfield County Bank, who understands this, and has committed funds to ensure that HDF’s counseling program remains free of charge to its clients as we are faced with the challenge of Coronavirus.
