The Housing Development Fund was awarded a $500,000 grant from the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority’s HTCC Program. The HTCC (Housing Tax Credit Contribution) Program provides grant funding to organizations like HDF in support of affordable housing initiatives across the state and is funded by corporate tax credits. HDF has received 17 rounds of funding through the HTCC program. Funding supports HDF’s downpayment assistance program, ‘Live Where You Work,’ which provides downpayment and closing cost assistance loans at 0% interest to first-time homebuyer purchasing homes in the same city or town where they work. HDF is thrilled to continue this work. To learn more about HDF’s ‘Live Where You Work’ Program, visit us at our website: First Time Home Buyer – HDF (hdfconnects.org)
