Homebuyer Counseling Services
We offer free homeownership counseling services in English and Spanish to first time homebuyers looking to buy a home in Connecticut or New York. A HUD Certified Counselor will work with clients to help them understand the process of buying a home; will assess their current financial situation, determine mortgage readiness, eligibility to HDF loan programs, and develop an action plan. To start the process, see the steps below. Once the steps are completed, a HUD Certified Counselor will be assigned and will review the file within 10-15 business days.
