HDF now offers a Foreclosure Prevention Counseling Program to provide guidance and support to current homeowners who are either in foreclosure or in danger of being in foreclosure. HDF counselors have the expertise to guide homeowners on their options with first mortgage lenders. Please note that HDF will work with households on a case-by-case basis and cannot guarantee that every household will be able to avoid foreclosure. Your property must be in Connecticut to qualify for this program.
