HDF was excited to join partners and supporters for the groundbreaking of the new Cherry Street Lofts Project in Bridgeport’s West End. “In many ways, this marks the rebirth of this part of the city,” said Bridgeport’s Mayor Ganim.
The first phase of the project includes 157 residential units, including 126 set aside for residents making no more than 60% area median income, and will also include a community facility, a gym, and outdoor recreational space. The second phase of the project, which HDF plans to finance, will add 17 units of tutor housing and and a charter school.
