Since 1989, Housing Development Fund (HDF) has been helping people buy their first homes through free homebuyer counseling and education programs. We also offer down-payment assistance programs, and help build affordable housing. HDF NMLS #840392
We are pleased to offer our Home In A Day event to the Bronx and surrounding communities.
HOME IN A DAY is a one-stop-shop for eligible home-buyers who have not owned a property in the last 3 years.
When: Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10:00am to 1:30pm (Please register to ensure an appointment.)
Where: New Settlement Community Center, 1501 Jerome Avenue, Bronx
At HOME IN A DAY you will:
– Receive a free credit report
– Speak to an experienced Homeownership Advisor
– Have a chance to speak to HDF-approved bank representatives about first mortgage options
– Find out if you qualify for up to $20,500 in additional down payment and closing cost assistance
– Get equipped with an action plan and the tools needed to start your journey to homeownership!
HDF will require the following from you: 2 most current paystubs for all household adults; 2 years P&L, 1 month documentation of benefits, pension, child support, etc. (if applicable); and Home In A Day Intake Form packet. This is required to evaluate your eligibility.
If eligible, you may walk away with a pre-qualification for a first mortgage and with HDF’s downpayment and closing cost assistance eligibility.
Even if homeownership is further away in your future, you’ll leave with the knowledge of how to get from wherever you are to #HDFhome.
