2016 Benefit raises more than $60k for homeownership.

May 4, 2016 – Friends and supporters of the Housing Development Fund gathered at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich.

Following coffee and networking, guests were treated to updates about HDFs affordable housing work in the last year, a keynote talk from industry expert Benson Roberts, and a moving tribute to former HDF counselor Melvina Peters from HDF client Kwasi Gyambibi.

All told, the breakfast raised over $60,000 to support HDFs first time homebuyer program, which provides personalized, one-on-one counseling and homebuyer education services to income-eligible families and individuals purchasing their first homes.

Many thanks to all the sponsors and supporters who made this event possible — we’ll see you next year!
