Stamford, CT, July 17, 2015– The Bank of America Foundation has awarded Housing Development Fund $12,500 for its homebuyer counseling and education program which just this year has educated over 600 potential homebuyers, 200 of whom have become homebuyers.

HDF’s First-Time Homebuyer Program (FTHB) has assisted over 8,700 low- and moderate-income households to prepare for purchase, leading over 2000 area residents to achieve their dream of buying their first home.

Since 1989, HDF has made affordable housing a reality in Connecticut and beyond.
