In mid-May First County Bank awarded Housing Development Fund a $10,000 grant to support its First Time Home Buyer education and counseling Program.
HDF’s first time homebuyer counseling services are provided completely free of charge, and they’re designed specifically to help regular people buy their first homes.
Bank’s Chair Reyno Giallongo, Jr. noted that First County Bank’s Foundation was in its 15th year having been established in 2001 for the 150th anniversary of the Bank. Over the course of the past 15 years, First County Bank has made over 7 million in grant awards to local charitable organizations. Housing Development Fund is fortunate to be one of those organizations.
